Draper, UT | May 7, 2026: ProdataKey, providers of cloud-based access control solutions, just released the Red™ Reader V2—the latest addition to the company’s line of Red high-security hardware.
The PDK Red Reader V2 is a new and improved take on the traditional Red Reader by PDK. It features faster processing capabilities, improved reading functionality, and an easier-to-install body and sturdy chassis. The readers are compatible with the full range of ProdataKey credentials, including High Security, Prox, Bluetooth, PIN, and Mobile credentials. The Red Reader V2 is available in four form factors: mullion, mullion with keypad, single gang, and single gang with keypad.
The Red Reader V2 in the mullion with keypad variety is the first of its kind from ProdataKey, representing a brand new offering in the company’s lineup of high-security readers. Ideal for installations across various industries, the mullion keypad reader delivers both versatility and reliable performance in a compact form factor.
