Select users created in PDK.io can also be synchronized with the TC2 user database, keeping user records aligned across platforms.

Presenting a physical or mobile PDK credential grants access and disarms the alarm, supporting both security and convenience in one swipe. “It’s a no-brainer use case,” Steve explains. “You present your credential, the door unlocks, and the system disarms. It reduces the potential for false alarms and removes a lot of everyday stress.”
It is important to note that Resideo’s intrusion functionality and alarm behavior remain completely unchanged. Customers continue to benefit from the same trusted detection and monitoring—now enhanced through seamless access control integration.
Designed for Security Administrators and Installers
Beyond daily use, the PDK + Resideo integration was meticulously designed to support the entire security ecosystem. For security administrators, centralized user management is a major advantage. New users can be onboarded with a single credential that handles both access permissions and alarm disarming. Updates and removals can be completed quickly and applied consistently through the PDK.io interface, even across multiple sites and user groups, all with PDK.io, available via desktop or the PDK Access app.
For installers, the integration simplifies deployment. Once systems are installed, they are connected through the cloud, meaning that alarm panels do not need to be physically wired to PDK hardware, reducing on-site configuration while preserving existing infrastructure.
